Most of the systems we look after were built on Microsoft technology between ten and twenty-five years ago. Each page below covers what tends to go wrong with that platform, the realistic options, and how we approach the work.

Vendor support on 3 October 2026

Once support ends, the vendor stops issuing security fixes. The software keeps running, but each new vulnerability stays open.
